Sound Healing: Where Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Science

Sound has been medicine since the first heartbeat echoed in the human ear. Ancient healers knew this truth that modern science is now excitedly rediscovering. At Touched With Sound, we bring traditional sound healing techniques to the Northeast Ohio area through therapeutic vibrations and frequencies, facilitated by sound healing practitioner Lynette Becks.

From the gentle hum of singing bowls in our group sound bath journeys to the primal rhythms awakened in our drum circles, hosted at wellness studios around Cleveland, these sound vibrations speak a language your body instinctively understands.

Sound Healing Benefits for Natural Wellness

The Holistic Effects of Acoustic Sound Therapy Sessions on Mind-Body Health

Through years of sound therapy experience at Touched With Sound, we've seen how resonant healing vibrations have helped our clients to:

  • Find focus & mental clarity as brain waves synchronize with healing sound vibrations

  • Promote holistic wellness through harmonic frequency restoration techniques

  • Enhance meditation practices with guided sound journey experiences

  • Achieve deeper relaxation through the gentle oscillation of sound frequencies

  • Strengthen mind-body harmony as sound waves bridge physical and conscious planes

Together, we'll use these time-honored sound healing techniques to reduce chronic stress, promote deep relaxation, and restore emotional balance — opening pathways to healing that resonate long after the final tone fades from your private or group Touched With Sound session.

Meet Lynette Becks

Sound Healing Practitioner

I have a Diploma in both Individual (1:1) and Group Work with the Sound Healing Academy and am also a Sound Healing Academy tutor.  I have  studied with many sound healing teachers and practitioners including John Beaulieu, Jim Donovan, David Gibson, Jeralyn Glass, Eileen McKusick, and Christine Stevens. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, a Masters Degree in Public Administration and believe that there is still so much available to all of us in the healing and learning environments.

I find that many different instruments are helpful for sound healing and I presently use a variety of instruments in both 1 to1 and Group sessions including crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, monolina, sansula, koshi chimes, tuning forks, drums, native American flute, and the rain stick.  Needless to say, I am always adding more instruments to my stash!

Sound was both the first sense as we developed in utero and is our last sense to depart in our life.  It has so much to offer us along our path.  Join me in exploring how sound can help you in your own journey of life.
